So, I just watched the Fail Blog’s behind the scenes video. The Fail Blog is a blog run via submissions of pictures of things that fail. Everything from Pole Dancer Dolls to really dumb questions get posted.

They posted a video tour of their office, which was sort of like watching The Office, but with real people and no Steve Carell. It also completely depressed me that someone actually runs this blog like, I don’t know, an H and R block. With cubies and a make-shift conference room. It made it more calculated and less funny. I wouldn’t say it ruined Fail blog for me, but now I think of the factory-like business atmosphere of books selling and blog editing and I am less amused.

I am usually all for transparency and was surprised with my own reaction. Thoughts?
